FormFollowsFashion has just landed in Dubai and attended this October the ultimate fashion platform in Dubai and Middle East: Fashion Forward Dubai. For three days FFWD became ‘the platform’ for runway shows and presentations by famous designers, interesting talks with people from the fashion industry – Scott Schuman (Sartorialist), Imran Amed (Business of Fashion), Barbara Trebitsch (Domus Academy) were some of them – and many parties giving a progressive direction for fashion in the region.

The Catwalk hosted SS16 collections by Amato (Furne One), Dima Ayad, Madiyah Al Sharqi, Nafsika Skourti, Said Mahrouf, Starch Foundation, Zaroon by Zareena, House of Nomad and many others. Lace, pastels, feminine, sporty chic, black and white, fringes, transparency and Far East influences dominated runway shows. Some of the highlights follow!
