14 Dec Tartan for birthday party

What do you think of tartan??

This weekend I was invited in a different party…The son of a friend had birthday and an afternoon children party was organized! What to wear in a children party?? After thinking for a while, I chose was a dress which looks like two pieces – a grey top with epaulettes and a pleated tartan skirt with gold buttons but it’s not…A coat with gold threads of military style (in a glam version!) and ankle boots with straps completed the look.

dress: Lak – coat: Tibi – shoes: Zara – bag: Balenciaga – sunnies: RayBan

What made the difference, if you ask me, was the headband with a red crown on my head…it is handmade from doilies by the architect Eleni Sdouga (check the older post ‘Creativity through tradition’ for more).

The friend of mine – the fabulous mother – was dressed in black and white (safe but cool combination!) She wore a white shirt paired to black leather shorts and plimsolls!! So stylish!!

Have a nice week!
