Harper’s Bazaar is one of the most famous fashion magazines worldwide, which is published in 32 countries and regions.
Its’ India Bride edition considers itself to be the style resource for the brides-to-be and not only since it features trends for women who want to be fashion updated. It was the first time that the magazine celebrated its September issue in Dubai in an event that lasted 3 days and featured the most famous Indian designers and jewelers.

In the catwalk we had the chance to preview Wedding Couture collections from traditional Indian style dresses to contemporary gowns. Amit Aggarwal is the designer that led Indian couture to another level with his contemporary designs. His inspiration is in architecture – which becomes obvious in cut, materials and colors – and he is considered to be the master of metallics.
Moreover we had the chance to try masterpieces of Rohit Bal – the most famous designer in India. I was impressed by the coats and decided to try one from the men collection in straight line. These valuable handcrafted pieces, which express the traditional Indian craft, lastly have become a fashion trend worldwide.
Falguni and Shane of ‘Peacock’ fashion brand, two young designers, presented extraordinary gowns with valuable stones and fabrics in classic forms.
